Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Optivem Teams collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, your specific rights are set out in Sections 7–8.

1.Who we are (data controller)

OPTIVEM GROUP LLC (“Optivem”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of your personal data, a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. For any privacy question, contact email us.

2.What we collect

PaymentTransaction and invoicing records. Card details, where used, are handled by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers.

Booking & schedulingInformation you submit when booking a call to discuss Optivem Teams.
TechnicalBasic usage and device/log data from the site and the course platform where your team accesses the included courses.

3.How we use it, and our legal basis

  • To provide the coaching — run your team's private sessions and give access to the included courses. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • To take payment and keep financial records. Basis: contract and legal obligation.
  • To record sessions — only where your team has asked us to. Any such recording belongs to your company and is kept confidential to your team. Basis: performance of our contract with you, at your request.
  • To communicate with you about scheduling, changes, and support. Basis: contract and legitimate interest.
  • To comply with law — tax, accounting, and legal requests. Basis: legal obligation.

4.Who we share it with (processors)

We use trusted third-party providers to run the service. Each processes your data only as needed to provide their service:

5.Your code and confidentiality

Optivem Teams sessions are private to your team and treated as confidential. Any proprietary code, architecture, or business information your team chooses to share on a call is kept in confidence and is not shared with anyone outside Optivem, nor added to any public library. A non-disclosure agreement is available on request — we are happy to sign yours, or provide our standard mutual NDA. Where a recording is made at your team's request, it belongs to your company and is kept confidential to your team.

6.International transfers & retention

Optivem is based in the United States, and some of our providers are located in the United States or elsewhere. Where we transfer data out of the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.

We keep contact and contract data for as long as your team is engaged and for a reasonable period afterwards. Financial records are kept as long as required by law (typically several years). Any session recording made at your team's request is retained and handled per your instructions. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time (see Section 7), and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

7.Your rights (EU / UK — GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email email us.

8.Your rights (California — CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — though we do not sell or share your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9.Cookies

This site and the course platform use only essential cookies needed to run the site and your team's access (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may affect how the site and platform work.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
