Private coaching for engineering teams

Transform your legacy codebase, with your whole team in the room.

Courses teach the theory. Optivem Teams works on your code — private, dedicated sessions where your engineers bring your real, proprietary codebase, and we work the transformation together, every week.

Why Teams

Theory isn't your bottleneck.
Adoption is.

Your engineers can read every book on testing and architecture and still not move — because the gap between a clean textbook example and your tangled production code is where teams stall, and because changing how a whole team works needs buy-in, not just knowledge. Optivem Teams closes both gaps at once.

01

It's your code, not an example

Every session works on your real codebase — so what we figure out is immediately applicable, not a translation exercise.

02

The whole team learns together

No lone champion fighting uphill. The team builds shared language and shared commitment in the same room.

03

Sanctioned time is the unlock

Transformation happens because the company makes space for it — the one ingredient an individual can never supply, and the reason Teams works where self-study doesn't.

What Your Team Gets

Every session, on your context.

Not a generic curriculum — your problems, your stack, your constraints, worked live with your engineers in the room.

Private, Dedicated Sessions

Weekly 90-minute live calls reserved for your team alone. No outside attendees, no shared room — just your engineers and your codebase.

Work on Your Proprietary Codebase

Real architecture, real legacy code, real decisions — in full confidence. We work the transformation on the code that actually matters to your business.

Included for Every Enrolled Engineer

ATDD Accelerator and Pipeline Accelerator access — the courses cover the theory, so live sessions go straight to your code. Plus an Optivem Circle membership for any non-proprietary question between sessions, keeping your private sessions focused on your real code.

Outcomes

What transformation looks like.

After working together, teams typically move toward:

Predictable delivery — fewer surprise slippages, because there's a safety net under every change.

A shrinking pile of untested legacy code instead of a growing one.

Fewer production incidents from changes to code no one understood.

Faster, safer onboarding — new engineers can change the system without fear.

Reduced key-person risk — knowledge lives in tests and shared practice, not one person's head.

AI tools that actually accelerate delivery, because the safety layer makes their output verifiable.

Outcomes depend on the team doing the work between sessions, with time the company has sanctioned for it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is our code kept confidential?
Yes. We work entirely over your screen share — you keep the code on your own machines, and we never receive a copy: no repository access, no clone, no credentials. So there's nothing on our side to leak. Sessions are private to your team, and we only record if you ask us to. NDA available on request — we're happy to sign yours, or use our standard mutual NDA.
How often, and how long?
Weekly, 90 minutes per session, at fixed times we offer (generally Europe/US-East friendly). The weekly cadence is deliberate — it's what keeps momentum between sessions.
Are the courses included?
Yes — every enrolled engineer gets ATDD Accelerator and Pipeline Accelerator access. The courses cover the theory, so live sessions are spent entirely on applying it to your code, not on definitions. Access runs for as long as your membership is active and ends when the subscription ends.
Where do generic, non-code questions get answered?
Every enrolled engineer gets an Optivem Circle membership, included. Circle is the home for any non-proprietary question — concepts, practices, "how does this generally work" — answered between sessions. That keeps your private live sessions focused entirely on your real, proprietary code, where the time is best spent.
Will you write the code for us?
No — coaching is advisory. We work through the approach with your team; your engineers implement between sessions. That's by design — it's how the capability stays in your team.
Can you guarantee results?
We give the clearest, most practical direction we can — but transformation comes from the work your team does between sessions, with time the company has sanctioned. That commitment is the real predictor of success. Your first month is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in starting.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Choose a 6- or 12-month initial term, then continue month to month — cancel anytime after that. Your rate is locked for the full term you commit to, so a 12-month term holds today's price for a full year. You can pay upfront or monthly in advance. Transformation needs a fair run, and six months is the minimum to show real progress. Your first month is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Will the price go up?
These are introductory rates and will rise for new sign-ups. The rate you commit to is locked for your full 6- or 12-month term — it won't increase mid-term — so signing now holds today's lower price for the length of your commitment. After your term, month-to-month continuation is at our then-current rates.
What if our team is larger than 10?
Tiers cover up to 3, 5, or 10 named engineers — swaps are fine if someone leaves, but seats aren't for rotating extra people through. Larger or multiple teams — let's talk on a call.
